The 3-D daffodil card
The 3-D daffodil card

This card is easy to make, and will look fabulous on your mantelpiece too.
What you need:
- Coloured card (green and yellow)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Crayons or glitter pens
What to do:
- Fold an A4 (30cm x 21cm) piece of green card in half to make the card.
- Cut a strip of yellow card, 5cm by 12 1/2cm.
- Roll the strip up to make a tube and secure the end with glue or tape.
- Help your child cut little slits about 3mm in around both ends of the tube.
- At one end push the flaps inwards to make a flat bottom for the tube.
- Attach the tube to the centre of the green card with glue and fluff out the flaps at the other end of the tube to make the daffodil's trumpet.
- Cut about eight petal shapes out of the rest of the yellow paper and let your child stick them down in a circle around the trumpet.
- Draw on the flower's stem and leaves with some green crayons or glitter pens and help your child to write a message on the front and inside.
