Other info The Trailways cycle route follows the path of the old Whitby to Scarborough coastal railway (which has now been torn up). This means that everyone can cycle in perfect safety well away from roads and other traffic. Trailways maintains a fleet of 100 bikes for hire, along with towable buggy trailers for children too young to cycle.
