What to do:
Gather a number of toy cars to help your child create patterns. Encourage your child to put the cars in a row to show a pattern. Say the pattern as you point to each car. Experiment with several different patterns using the cars; for example, create a pattern that uses the colours of cars, the kinds of cars or the size of cars.
