Ice tongs

Ice tongs or a similar pinching tool help develop the hand muscles.

What you'll need:

  • Ice tongs
  • Cotton balls
  • Empty container

What to do:
Provide your child with such a tool, plus a container of cotton balls and an empty container. Demonstrate how to use the tongs to move one cotton ball at a time to the empty bowl.
