Strategies for your child
In the meantime, you can help your child by giving him or her some anti-bullying strategies.Try not to look scared, but face a bully and tell him or her to leave you alone.
Report bullying to an adult immediately and expect action to be taken.
Stay in safe areas in and on your way to school, for example where there are plenty of other people.
Talk to someone you trust about what has happened - a friend, parent or teacher.
If you see anyone else being bullied, tell a teacher or another adult you trust.
