Teen slang: Celebrity panel put to the test

With the help of our teenage representative, Alex Bello, iVillage.co.uk and Fanta put a panel of celebrities and a 'normal' mum to the test to see if they could decipher some teenage slang. Were they as 'down with the kids' as they thought or just a bunch of mouldie oldies? When it came to the teen slang test did they get an A+ or a F? Watch to find out.

Arabella Weir

Arabella WeirArabella Weir is a British comedian, actress and writer. She lives in Crouch End with her husband and two children, Isabella, 10 and Archie, 9. Arabella is best known as one of the stars of the multi award winning, hugely popular sketch show The Fast Show and for her contributions to all the series of Grumpy Old Women. As an actress, she has most recently appeared in the hit, cult teen drama SKINS as one of the leads, Michelle's, mother. Arabella has also written three novels including the international bestseller Does my bum look big in this? taken from the character, Insecure Woman, she originally wrote for the Fast Show.

Arabella is currently writing a new novel and a pilot for a sitcom for the BBC. She frequently contributes to various Radio 4 shows and also writes regularly for the Guardian newspaper.

Judi James

Judi JamesJudi is a leading TV expert in body language, relationships, social behaviour, stress and time management, image, workplace culture and communication skills. Judi began life as a catwalk model before concentrating on her own modeling school.

Judi is a best selling novelist, writing six books including the best-seller Supermodel. As well as writing books Judi regularly contributes to magazines such as You, Q Magazine, Zest and Real Life. Judi's TV work includes her own series for Channel 5 called Naked Celebrity and commentary work for Big Brother, The Xtra Factor, Newsnight and Sky News.

Phil Vickery

Phil VickeryPhil is an English celebrity chef married to the TV presenter Fern Britton, he lives in Buckinghamshire with their four children, twin boys aged 14, and girls of 12 and 7.

Phil is an award winning chef who has won a Michelin star, AA Rosettes and has been voted the AA Chef of the Year. Phil has been a regular fixture on Ready Steady Cook and This Morning for some years and has become one of UK's most loved TV Chefs.

As well as his TV work, Phil has written for numerous titles such as BBC Good Food Magazine, Woman and Home and Best, as well as writing his own cook books.
