This was hotly anticipated, but perhaps a little disappointing. The sticker machine worked pretty well (until all the sticky bits got stuck together) and it does make proper stickers, but each one uses up a lot of the sticker material. Because of this its immediate life is limited, so an extra roll or two of sticky material would have been a bonus. The kit comes with pens and lots of paper shapes and pictures to colour in, but you can easily make up your own designs. Despite an 8+ age guide, younger children can quite happily make stickers - even if their colouring isn't quite up to scratch!

What the kids say
The thought of making her own stickers was almost too much to bear - six-year-old Alice loved it unreservedly. She fed design after design into the machine and was delighted with the results, making stickers for friends and foes alike.
