Vision test
What happens in a vision test with the Orthoptist?
For this test a child is only able to co-operate to a certain degree. The Orthoptist has special skills and techniques that will enable them to follow eye movements, testing the various muscle groups individually in order to determine that there is a normal development. These non-invasive reflexes are tested in order to give the clues for the normal progress of ocular function.
