Feeling faint during prgnancy

My sister is 21 weeks pregnant and is having dizzy spells. Her blood pressure is ok but I was wondering if you have any thoughts on why she is experiencing this. They are on and off throughout the day. Thanks.

It is not uncommon to have dizzy spells when you are pregnant, and generally speaking, they are no more serious than a nuisance factor. However, to suffer from several spells a day is unusual.I don?t know what is the cause in your sister?s case, and it might be sensible for her to talk to her GP. Low blood pressure, low blood sugar or hyperventilating could all be contributory factors. Christine Hill.
