What are the symptoms of pregnancy?
What are the symptoms of pregnancy, especially in the first month? My wife's period is almost a month late, and she has vomiting, dizziness and headache. Does this indicate that she is pregnant?
Unfortunately, these symptoms are similar to those of a virus, a common cold or flu, as well as pregnancy. Breast tenderness, especially around the nipple area, and frequency in urination are also symptoms of pregnancy, but even these can have other sources. A missed period also is a potential symptom. Do a home pregnancy test, which is very reliable, and this should then answer your questions.
In the meantime, make sure she is eating a very good diet and taking a folic acid supplement and NOT smoking or drinking any alcohol.
