Am I pregnant?

Is it possible to have a period while pregnant? I am on a birth control pill and I am afraid I may be pregnant. I have all the classic symptoms, yet I am still having periods. Is this possible?

answer
Yes it is possible to have a light period even if you are pregnant. If you have all the other symptoms of pregnancy, I would do a home pregnancy test. Although this can sometimes give a false negative, it is very unlikely to give a false positive result.
