- you're a single parent working at least 16 hours a week, or live as a couple where each of you works at least 16 hours a week or one of you is disabled, and
- you pay for registered childcare (e.g. a childminder, nursery, playscheme or out-of-school club) and
- you qualify for Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC)
From 2001 these maximum levels will increase to £135 for one child adn £200 for two or more children.
