If your nails are weak this could suggest that you need more minerals, including zinc, but also calcium. Good sources of calcium, for healthy teeth as well, include semi-skimmed or skimmed milk, calcium enriched soya milk, yoghurt, reduced-fat cheese, green leafy vegetables, tinned salmon or sardines (with the bones), nuts and seeds.
