Large for dates
I am currently nine weeks pregnant with my third baby. Over the last week I have developed quite a bump. I'm not a thin person, but I currently look a good few months gone. I'm wondering if my dates may be wrong or is it just that my muscles have 'given up' as I had a son only fifteen months ago?
It's very difficult to know without seeing you, but having quite a bump at nine weeks is pretty unusual even if your tummy muscles haven't recovered from your fifteen-month-old son.
You should consider whether you are four weeks more pregnant than you thought (sometimes you can have a light period when you are already pregnant) or the possibility that you are carrying twins.
When you see your midwife, if she thinks you feel larger than average I expect she will book you in for a scan; the earlier the scan, the more accurate the dating.
