Causes for false positive pregnancy test?

I have taken two pregnancy tests today and both came up positive. Could the yeast infection I discovered yesterday cause it to come up positive or can my husband and I start to celebrate?

answer
Yeast infections have not been known to cause positive pregnancy tests, so congratulations are in order! False positives are possible, but not as common as false negatives.

Remember to start taking a folic acid supplement and start a healthy diet right away.
