| Diets celebs swear by
Hollywood's hottest stars weren't all born with perfect bodies nor are they immune to ice cream binges - but you'd never know it watching their svelte bods saunter down the red carpet. How do they manage to look so amazing? Some work out with personal trainers, some visit the plastic surgeon - but all celebs watch what they eat. And because stars have sparked some of the most enduring diet trends, we're watching them. Here's the inside scoop on who's eating (and not eating) what. Low-Carb The Zone's prescribed quota of 40 percent carbohydrates, 30 percent protein and 30 percent unsaturated fats works for Renee Zellweger, too, who slimmed down on the plan after gaining 20 pounds for her role in Bridget Jones's Diary. The diet has also attracted sleek celeb followers like Madonna, Cindy Crawford, Winona Ryder, Demi Moore, Kristin Davis and Kirstie Alley, to name a few. Another popular low-carb choice is the high-fat Atkins diet. The meat-and-cheese-heavy plan reportedly helped Catherine Zeta-Jones lose her post-pregnancy pudge. And according to unconfirmed Hollywood rumours, Sharon Stone and Tori Spelling have given the low-carb Sugar Busters diet a try. The doctor-created plan says cutting all forms of sugar is the secret to losing weight. Low-Fat Organic Julia Roberts and Christina Aguilera have gone organic, too. Thesmokinggun.com reports that Roberts insists on having organic milk in her trailer and Aquilera keeps organic milk and soy cheese in her dressing room. Vegetarian And size two Cameron Diaz isn't counting calories. 'I'm blessed with a quick metabolism, so I can eat more or less what I like,' the former Charlie's Angel boasted. But before dieters across the world start sending her hate mail, Diaz does admit that she's a vegetarian and recently gave up caffeine. |
