What our testers say
The buttons are too small and require some force, and our tester did not have the co-ordination for this yet. Occasionally she was successful and pressed a button, but it was only through random scratching.
The buttons are also poorly positioned. The 'bib' area, which has the shapes on it, is not positioned correctly over the button panel, so even if a kid could identify which colour to press, he/she still might not make contact with the button underneath. The star shape in particular only overlaps slightly with the button below - press the centre of this shape and you would still totally miss the button. This is fairly crucial to the successful operation of the toy.
On the positive side, our tester enjoyed chewing the toy and was obviously pleased with its bright colours. The American accent was not as grating as it could have been and it turns itself off automatically after a period of inactivity.
