Just before dusk lays its ebony veil
Is an incredible beauty you can almost inhale

Rich warm air settles sweetly in calm
Soothing body and heart with its whispering balm

Trees silhouetted by an amber sky
A black lace salute to a day gone by

Soft gauzy clouds weave purple streaks
In magnificent backdrop to mountain peaks

A miracle in music gently occurs
As humanity quietens and wilderness stirs

Heaven is sent in the hour before night
Bathing our world in its peaceful light.
