Environmentally friendly household cleaning brand Ecover made the move into the beauty market a while ago, but I've only just discovered it and liked it so much that I thought it was worth a mention. Colorlab Custom Cosmetics
A new US import to Selfridges is Colorlab. A non-comedogenic mineral cosmetics range that allows you to choose and recreate colours at your will. Colorlab's specially trained make-up artists will custom blend a foundation to suit your skin tone and can add additional SPFs, mattifiers or other desired effects into the mix. Best of all they can re-create any discontinued shade or colour you like. I gave them a mere smudge of a discontinued lippy I was desperate to find. Soap & Glory
We all take our beauty regime seriously, but that doesn't mean we can't have a bit of fun with it too. That's the philosophy behind Soap&Glory a humorous new range of beauty products from Marcia Kilgore, the creator of the much-loved Bliss spa range.
