Recreate those magical mornings when the Easter Bunny hopped by and you had to find the eggs he left behind

Organise an Easter egg hunt for your kids, either indoors or outdoors, so they can let off steam over the holiday weekend, searching high and low for those eggs-tra special treasures you've hidden away.

How to host an egg hunt

1. Write out some invitations on squares of white paper or card. Get your kids to stick them on coloured card and illustrate with bunnies and eggs if they're feeling particularly creative.
2. Make the clues. You need to do this on the sly. On squares of card, either draw picture symbols - teddy for the toy cupboard, wellies for the shed and so on - or if they're older, try making up some simple riddles.
3. Make stencils in the shape of bunny feet. Using wash-off paint or paper cut-outs, place them around the house or garden to point the children in the right direction. You're now all set for the hunt - so get those kids searching.

Hide the eggs in as wide an area as possible so that the children have to race around for longer.
