Dream dinner dates

Dream dinner datesWhich six people would be your dream diners? iVillagers reveal all

The six I dream of hosting a dinner party for are:

  1. Kim Deal (bassist/singer - The Pixies; The Breeders; The Amps): I just think she's the coolest person ever.
  2. Johnny Depp: I really think I might be in love with him, so I'd invite him to dinner just to make sure.
  3. Kevin Smith (film director): His films really make me laugh, and then he could meet Johnny Depp and put him in his next film.
  4. William Shakespeare: To ask him how he wrote all those plays.
  5. Robert Plant (singer - Led Zeppelin): He was in one of my favourite bands ever, I'd love to hear his stories about touring during the 70s. Plus, he could get together with Kim Deal and make super-cool rock 'n' roll babies!
  6. David Baddiel: I think he's brilliantly funny, very interesting and I love his books.

My hot six:

  1. Arsene Wenger: He can sort out the wine and introduce me to Thierry Henry.
  2. William Blake: He was obsessed by London (as I am).
  3. Johnny Depp: The eye candy, obviously.
  4. Kurt Cobain: To ask him how he really died.
  5. Simone de Beauvoir: Because I love her work.
  6. A. N. Millionaire: To pay for it all!

Hmmm, six dinner party guests...

  1. Eddie Izzard: I can quite imagine him after a couple of glasses of wine - hilarious!
  2. Douglas Adams: I loved his mind.
  3. Jeremy Clarkson: A four-year-old with greying hair - the average man!
  4. John Lennon: Well, why not?
  5. Sarah-Jessica Parker: So she could tell all those who didn't like the last episode of SATC to shut up.
  6. Leonardo da Vinci: Just to be in the presence of greatness.

Quite a mixed bunch really!

Only six, that's a tough choice.

  1. My granddad: He died suddenly and there were too many things left I wanted to talk about with him.
  2. Stephen Fry: For his wit and intelligence.
  3. P.G. Wodehouse: So we could discuss his great books.
  4. Katharine Hepburn: To spice things up - apparently she was a very fiery lady!
  5. Alfred Hitchcock: A very interesting character.
  6. George Clooney: As a centrepiece for the table.

My six men!

  1. Michael Schumacher: Maybe his positive thinking would rub off on me.
  2. Valentino Rossi: He's a funny guy as well as a brilliant bike racer.
  3. Jeremy Clarkson: He's so funny and I'm sure along with the above it would make for entertaining conversation.
  4. Brad Pitt: Just someone to look at.
  5. Lee Evans: To make us all laugh.
  6. Jamie Oliver: To help prepare tea.

I don't know why they are all men, and compared to the other answers I've read, there's not much intelligence here at all! But they're all good at what they do and I'm sure it would be a great night.
