Many gadgets are designed to prevent storage units being opened and to prevent windows being opened too wide. There are numerous designs on offer and therefore a wide selection to choose from. Keeping children out of cupboards or drawers prevents fingers being trapped and denies them access to fragile or dangerous items.

A fridge lock
Not only stops a child from raiding the contents of the fridge, but it also prevents the door being left open and the contents ruined. |
Cabinet slide lock
This lock clamps around cabinet doors and so prevents either door being opened.

Video lock
Stops children pushing items or hands into the video slot. Simple to fit.

Drawer and cupboard catch
This stops drawers and cupboards being opened by a child. There are many types available.

A window limiter catch
This is designed to prevent a child opening a window wide enough to jump out. It needs to be screwed in place, with one part on the frame, and the other on the moving casement.
