This is another everyday household task that you can do with your child. • Clean, dry laundry

What to do:
Each time you sort the clean, dry laundry, use it as an opportunity for your child to practice sorting. Have him or her match up socks or towels by size or colour. Ask questions such as 'Whose socks are bigger, yours or Daddy's?' or 'How many green towels do we have?' This will reinforce counting and number skills as well.
