What's a romantic holiday without a little soft-core porn? This is a movie both you and your boyfriend can enjoy (and get some, uh, creative ideas from) with both Mickey and Kim in their prime. It's in the 'drama' section of the rental store, but we all know it's about dirty sex in dirty places.

2. Belle Epoque (Spanish subtitles)

The 'Baby, we need more culture in our relationship' movie
Get turned on - to another culture - with the story of Fernando, Luz, Rocio, Violeta and Clara. That's one guy, and four sisters, respectively. Fernando deserts the Spanish army in 1931 and befriends Manolo, a farmer with four hot daughters. All the sisters like him, and he likes all four of them. Lucky Fernando! So, while he has to choose just one, the sensual sisters display flesh, confusion, transsexuality and rebellion. Whew, is it hot enough in here for you?

3. Eyes Wide Shut
Starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman
The 'Let's get deep and introspective together' movie
Sexual pursuit, thy name is Tom. Infidelity, decadence, paganism, domination, jealousy, shame, drugs: all invade the land of Kubrickia. The movie sits on a precipice between depression and sexuality; the viewer doesn't really know which theme is more prevalent. So, grab a six-pack or open that bottle of Merlot while you're cuddling and contemplating moves from the orgy scene. You know that's why you rented it in the first place.

4. Basic Instinct
Starring Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas
The 'Gratuitous sex is the best kind' movie
Subordination turns to a kinky and frenzied death. Not the most romantic concept, we know - but it gets better (and did we mention kinky?). Sharon plays a novelist and Michael plays a detective. They play mind games throughout the murder investigation of a nightclub owner, Sharon's ex-beau, as all fingers point to her guilt except for those of the detective.
Naturally, they go to bed together. The rest of the film has numerous bedroom scenes. And no one crosses her legs (without underwear) like Sharon can.

5. Great Expectations
Starring Ethan Hawke and Gwyneth Paltrow
The 'It's okay if we don't pay attention, I read the book' movie
Even if you didn't read the book, you'd be a fool not to appreciate what this movie has to offer - Ethan, Gwyneth, nudity and a good plot. Since you won't pay attention to the latter, however, we'll solve the burning question now: yes, they do end up together, and, yes, they do get it on. A few times. In different places.
