The short answer is yes. Even if we try to hide it and say that it’s okay, the truth is that when a woman earns more than us, it’s a blow to our egos. That said, not all of us are comfortable being the breadwinners, either. Being responsible for someone else’s financial stability is a huge amount of pressure. It’s a Catch-22.
