Recipe of the Week Contest Rules

To enter, submit an original recipe by posting on the Recipe of the Month contest message board. The recipe must use the ingredient(s), or the method specified, or be appropriate for the specific theme for that month's contest. Submitted recipes should be accurate, easy to prepare and use readily available ingredients. iVillage reserves the right to disqualify any recipe as an Eligible Entry which contains content that is not consistent with the parameters above and does not meet eligibility requirements. In addition to their recipe submission, entrants are required to provide their member name and email address. There is a limit of one entry per person and only the first entry of each person will be considered.Each month a new Recipe of the Month Contest theme will be posted with the entry dates for that particular month's contest. Each monthly competition entry period will run from the first day of the month to the last day of the month(last entries 6am on that day). This comprises a ‘monthly entry period’. Submit your best recipes for a chance to win a £50 voucher (the ‘prize’) from Tesco. The winner will be announced five to seven days after each closing date. iVillage will not be responsible for entries submitted after the 6am deadline and entries after this time will not be considered for the monthly entry period. By entering the contest, the entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by the Rules of the Competition.By submitting your recipe, you acknowledge that you have the authority to do so and that your submission does not violate another party’s copyright, Intellectual property rights or any other rights. iVillage reserves the right to seek indemnification from any entrant whose submission is or becomes the subject of a third-party claim. You also grant iVillage.co.uk a perpetual, worldwide, non-revocable license to reproduce, publish, display, distribute and create derivative works from your submission. In keeping with the Privacy Policy governing the iVillage site, iVillage and its related companies may use personal information obtained as a result of administering the competition for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.Winner selection: judging by Food Channel staff to take place each month for the monthly contest that has just ended (each a monthly ‘entry period’). Entrants must submit recipes for a given theme from 6am the day the theme is announced until 6am the last day of that month (as determined by timestamps on the posts). Eligible Entries will be judged and winners selected by the employees of iVillage’s Food Channel according to the following criteria: ease to make, originality, creativity and use of seasonal ingredients.
