Others cannot understand
My feelings like you do
They will never comprehend
that you feel it too.
Being here is all I need
To make it through the day
"I understand, I've been there too"
Is what I hear you say.
You will always tell me
What I need to hear,
Listening, never judging
Whenever I shed a tear.
I only need to call on you
When I have a frown
and the lifeline in my living room
never lets me down.
