A new survey by DatingDirect.com, reveals 84 per cent of single Brits struggle to find a date
A sprinkling of Latte Creations makes an everyday coffee break extra special
Poem for iVillage
My sweetheart's an injured soldier
Never dreamt he'd be sent off to fight
But recruiting is down so in February
My love had to leave to catch a flight.
I felt like my heart had been broken
With worry and loss and despair
But I switched on GMTV one day
And found that iVillage was there.
It opened my eyes to discover
A world of support and new friends
It's so good to know that whatever
The link between us now never ends.
My man is home safe and sound now
Our love is intact and still true
But we all spare a thought for those ladies
Whose losses have made them so blue.
The time would have passed by so slowly
If we all had nowhere to turn
For some comfort, an ear, or a laugh
At what Kat has been trying not to burn.
So many names and stories
Too many to mention alone
So here's to Moon & Poppy et al
Who've proved I'm not on my own.
Where else could we go for the feeling
That all of us are understood?
Nobody cares what you're wearing
We're all just here for the good.
Here's hoping all conflicts will end soon
And we live in a happier world,
But thanks for giving me this opportunity
To get to know this great bunch of girls.
