'I don't know where I'd be without my mobile. We used to flirt when we were together and by text before the relationship began. But it was actually a particular text that made me realise that he was serious. It took me a day to answer it.

If he wanted me to call, he would ring once and then hang up, and that would be the signal for me to phone him back. This way, he never had calls to me on his bill. He also took his SIM card out every night before going home, so that it deleted the 'received calls' list from the phone, as sometimes she would check his phone. Boy, am I glad all that is now over!'

'I text my MM a lot. My bill is itemised but my DH wouldn't open my post, and I always destroy the bill after I've read it as I also receive online billing, which I can use privately to check any queries etc. Most companies offer this service now, and you can ask them not to bother sending you a postal bill.

My MM uses his company phone, and we have been caught out once before, when he was on business abroad and he phoned me for almost an hour at 11pm!!! Now we are more careful, and if it is weird times of the night he will ususally text me and I will call him back from my phone, so that it doesn't appear on his work bill. My bills are quite high as a result.'
