Help! I really badly fancy my boyfriend's best friend. What do I do? I am just not feeling the way I used to about my boyfriend, but I love him and don't want to hurt him.

If you truly don't want to hurt your boyfriend, the answer is clear. If you and your boyfriend are having problems, sort it out one way or the other. And that 'other' doesn't mean messing about with his best friend. There are innumerable names for an individual who has an affair with a significant other's good friend; none of them are nice and most are unprintable. As for the friend - well, what kind of friend would that make him?

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. When your lawn starts looking shoddy and poorly maintained, the one next door appears green, blooming and like something you'd really enjoy rolling around on. In reality, of course, both lawns have flowers and weeds in equal measure.

If you ultimately decide to end your relationship, do it with dignity. Otherwise you run the risk of becoming part of a trio we'll one day watch having a brawl on Jerry Springer.
