The sneaky dating rules

It’s easy to get a date – just stick to these seven rules

1. Learn to do something that will easily ingratiate you with a new man. Astrology works on most people so all you need to do is memorise a few key details about each of the signs of the Zodiac and drop them into your conversation. Offer to do the man’s chart – if he has any interest in the subject he’ll swap numbers immediately. If you sense that this isn’t a flyer with him, switch to palmistry, graphology or Feng Shui.

2. Tempt him with your contacts. Allude to people you know who might be able to help him in his career or hobbies.

3. Pretend to have tickets for whatever he’s interested in – theatre, sports, anything that leads to that crucial follow up call.

4. Pretend to have knowledge of, or an interest in his favourite subjects. Everyone’s looking for someone to talk to.

5. Ask him for his expertise in something that interests you. Ask for help and flatter him mercilessly – men like that.

6. Pretend you are planning a house party in the summer in Ibiza and invite him. Anything could happen between now and then.

7. Resolve to put yourself out there and get involved with anything that interests you. There are probably things you’ve always wanted to do – try some of them now. List them down and do one each week. Activity leads to activity, and this will help to make you self-sufficient – an incredibly attractive trait.
