Rhydian's X Factor verdict

Writing exclusively for iVillage.co.uk, former X Factor runner-up Rhydian Roberts gives his views on this year's finalists
Hi All,
This is possibly the most evenly matched X Factor there's ever been! It's thrilling stuff!
In fairness to all the contestants, they keep delivering top quality performances under an immense amount of pressure. This is particularly impressive from Stacey, who allegedly has no performing experience.
I enjoyed her Michael Jackson performance and thought the judges were a little harsh. Her second song, Somewhere, wasn't bad but wasn't great either.
The penultimate note was completely out of tune and I felt that parts of the song were too low. That said, who doesn't love the Stace?
Joe was sublime on Saturday. He almost makes it look too effortless if anything. His voice is beautiful and sings with such musicality for an 18-year-old.
Olly was skating on thin ice this week according to most people I spoke to. I, on the other hand, found his performances again, thoroughly entertaining.
He did look a tad nervous, but who could blame him? His dancing is hilarious and makes him unique. I can only describe it as 'totally committed Dad dancing.' I'm glad he's in the final.
So it's curtains for Danyl then. I feel for him a bit because I thought he was near faultless this week when it came to both his performances. He has talent, there's no denying that and I'm sure he'll do really well post-X Factor.
I'm so pleased that we have three talented, highly likable finalists.
Best wishes to them all for next week's showdown.
