Sausage, chick pea and green bean casserole

Use a meaty sausage, such as Debbie & Andrew's Harrogate sausage, to make this recipe
 

Ingredients

  • 4 Debbie and Andrew's Harrogate sausages, each cut into 3
  • 1 dessertspoon sunflower oil or groundnut oil
  • 1 small to medium onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 150g small new potatoes, quartered
  • 85g French beans, trimmed and cut into 3
  • 100g drained weight canned chick peas
  • 227g can chopped tomatoes
  • 125ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste
Serves: 2 Preparation: 15 Cook Time: 60 Total Time: 75min whats this
 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven /Gas Mark
  2. Heat the oil in a non stick frying pan and fry the sausages, onion, garlic and paprika for minutes to slightly brown the sausages. Place into a casserole dish
  3. Add the potatoes, green beans and chick peas to the casserole dish.
