Beyonce committed the ultimate singer’s faux pas this week. She lip-synched her way through Star Spangled Banner during Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration. Ouch.

My reaction? How dare she! How much money was she paid simply to turn up and be a goldfish? Let’s face it, anyone can turn up and pretend to sing. Maybe she should stick to Air Guitar championships in future.
Apparently she had a sore throat and didn’t want to balls up. Sore throat? Pah! Just push through it – a nice bit of rasping would add texture. Work with it Beyonce!
I wouldn’t mind, but she has amazing voice. Her songs might be contrived, but it’s not as if she can’t sing. She won’t sing. Which is a shame because had her performance been live it would have been a stormer. Silly woman.
Kelly Clarkson, on the other hand, nailed her LIVE performance which was really, really good. Boy that girl has class. Unlike Beyonce.
