- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 Spanish onion, sliced
- 500g (1lb 2oz) halved new potatoes
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1x180g pack trimmed green beans, halved

- Heat the olive oil in a flame-proof casserole dish and saute the onion. Add the new potatoes, paprika and garlic. Stir well for mins then add the green beans, pears, chopped tomatoes, chickpeas, water and stock cube.
Bring to the boil then cover and simmer for mins until tender. Season to taste and serve with crusty bread.
