Spicy Lamb Jalfrezi

Cooking in the oven develops the deep rich spicy flavours in this classic Indian dish
 

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 350g Good quality lamb - cubed
  • 240g spicy jalfrezi Sauce
  • ½ Red pepper - sliced
  • 2-3 Shallots, cut in half and into wedges
Serves: 2 Preparation: 5 Cook Time: 90 Total Time: 95min whats this
 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to #C fan, #C conventional, gas
  2. Heat Tbsp oil in a wok or deep-sided frying pan; add the lamb and fry for minutes until brown.
  3. Place the lamb in a medium size casserole, pour over the Jalfrezi Sauce, cover with a tight fitting lid or foil and cook for - hours or until the lamb is tender.
