Spray it with pheromones

I've had a busy week, I started the first day of my cognitive hypnotherapy and neuro linguistics programming (NLP) course at Regent's College (Thequestinstitute.co.uk). I am going back to school for a year to hopefully get my diploma, which is a bit of a shock to the system as I left school at 15 and have done a marginal amount of studying since then! When I was filming What Not To Wear what fascinated me was why people took part in the show and the issues they were hoping to combat. I'm a firm believer that you have to feel good on the inside to reflect looking good on the outside so I am really happy to be learning more with my NLP course.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get to X Factor this week due to work commitments but I did tune in over the weekend to get my weekly fix...

And they've done it again...

Please please please give Rebecca back her original style. Her hair was a million times better when she entered the show and who on earth chose the earings she wore this week?! On a different note (excuse the pun!) her voice is totally phenomenal and I just adore her.

Treyc wore a fabulous red dress which was really flattering and fitted her body shape well. It was great on her bust, accentuated her waist and knee length is the most flattering choice for a dress. She looked beautiful, but what was with the awful black lipstick? Unfortunately, Katie's make-up wasn't much better as her eyes looked anaemic!

I went to a lovely charity evening at Sotheby's this week which was sponsored by Krug, so we sipped gorgeous vintage champagne all evening. The event was called Mind Share and many famous faces took part in an auction - including Stuart Rose who gave an hour of his time to the highest bidder - to raise money for their preferred charities. I spotted Peter Mandelson and Anya Hindmarch, as well as other pals.

There was also a sit-down dinner that was utterly delicious. I saw my old friend Melissa Odabash who looked stunning, as always. I absolutely love her new collection of clothes - Odabash.com - and she has very kindly offered to make me a gold dress of hers, as I like it so much. It's the ultimate goddess dress and is certainly a show stopper; one for the Christmas parties!

Also this week, I went on a date to the Supper Club which was hilarious! You are served food in bed, but I hadn't realised you have to take your shoes off. I had been shopping with my daughters all day and didn't have time to go home and change, so my date saw me in my most fashionable reindeer socks! How embarrassing ;-)

Product of the week: Molecule 01 perfume. This scent works with your pheromones to produce a totally unique fragrance which you barely smell but which will attract others! And I particularly
like it as the fragrance lasts all day. Retailing at £65 it's quite
affordable. The latest scent is called The Beautiful Mind Series Volume 1, Intelligence and Fantasy and is more expensive (double the price), so perhaps best saved for your Christmas list.

Until next week shoppers.

Love Lisa xx
