Suzi Perry's must-have gadgets guide
Tech guru Suzi Perry tells us her top gadgets for a high style lifestyle. From cheap, practical accessories to sleek statement items. These must-haves are designed to enhance and enrich your homelife - practical, convenient and very cool...TheO Cloud Nine - Induction rollers
Suzi Perry: The oldest way to style hair is by using rollers. I've tried them all, whether heated or velcro, but recently - after 40 years - I have found a solution to burnt fingers and floppy curls: induction rollers. You just pop the roller in the hub and it heats to 130 degrees in less than four seconds, you hear a beep and you're ready to style.

Digital Measuring Jug
Suzi Perry: A simple gadget but very useful especially if you are short of space and dont have room for bulky scales. This jug will weigh and measure digitally meaning that your measurements are exact and you'll save on washing up!
eKitch digital measuring jug, £19.95 at Amazon.co.uk
Fisher and Paykel Dish Drawer and CoolDrawer
Suzi Perry: I am a massive fan of F and P, they combine cutting edge design with practical living and win every time. Their dishwasher drawer not only looks gorgeous with its EZKleen Stainless front panel but has a fully adjustable racking system inside to accommodate long stem glasses, pots, pans and plates to 315mm. A single drawer means now waiting for a stinky dishwasher to be full is a thing of the past, but a double drawer can cater for a very busy kitchen.
The CoolDrawer is a new idea which enables you to choose from five different temperature settings; freezer, chill, fridge, pantry or the wine cooling option. Not all of our food requires the same temperature all of the time, so the CoolDrawer brings flexibility and has been proven to keep food fresher for longer.

WiThings Tweeting Scales
Suzi Perry: This one is a bit of fun and a motivation tool! These scales obviously tell you your weight but also your fat content, the weight of your bones and how much of your body is muscle (never enough in my case!) Then you can set them to tweet the results, if you're brave enough, that way you can see how your friends are getting on with their diet!
WiThings Scales, £119, Amazon.co.uk
AeroGarden
Suzi Perry: If, like me, you lead a busy hectic life you probably, like me again, forget to water plants and are greeted by sad, forlorn, withering, brown leaves gasping for attention. An AeroGarden is the answer. Great - if you don't have a garden you can bring the outside in. It grows food using hydroponics, no soil. An oxygenated water system is used and you can choose from flowers, herbs or vegetables. They look beautiful and take minimal effort.

Elica Adagio Downdraft Extractor
Suzi Perry: This cooker hood is simply gorgeous, but you don't get to see it until it is required. It sits flush with the kitchen worktop and as it detects steam or smoke in the air it rises into action. It come in white or black glass with stainles steel or just plain, divine stainless. Usually Extractors are dull, but not this one.

Apple Ipad
Suzi Perry: Tell me you've got one? It's a must have gadget and fast becoming the perfect controller for all home appliances. The apps enable you to do, well pretty much anything really. I could bang on about its screen resolution and processing power and the intense web surfing experience but it's the apps that make it a must have, those combined with a decent sized screen so I don't have to squint! There are apps for everything, trust me this is the controller and all rounder for 2011.
Ipad, from £459 at Amazon.co.uk
Echo Smart Pen
Suzi Perry: This smart pen records everything you hear so great for meetings and lectures, but it also has the ability to save you time, instead of having to scroll back through endless pages of notes to find what you're after the Echo ties audio to your written notes. As you read your notes later you can tap your written words with the pen on the special paper to hear the audio recorded at the moment you wrote them. Apps are also available with iTunes.
Echo 8GB Smart Pen, £166.20 at Amazon.co.uk
Sound Asleep Memory Foam Pillow
Suzi Perry: It's lovely to drift off to the sound of music that you love rather than the droning snores of the man you love. This comfy pillow has a speaker embedded inside and a jack for your mp3/ipod/radio. It's a totally selfish experience, your partner wont be able to hear your chosen tunes and its also a gentle way to wake up with your alarm clock.
