Brad and Angelina stunned by 'kidnap plot'
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to have increased security after a number of reports suggested a plot to kidnap their recently adopted son had been uncovered.
According to reports, the pair's bodyguards learned of a 'credible and meticulously planned' plot to snatch Vietnamese Pax Thien, 3, before demanding a £50 million ransom.
A 'security insider' is quoted by The Sun as saying: 'They're highly skilled operatives with little regard for human life.
'The gang ordered their LA members to devise a plan to kidnap Pax before demanding a ransom of £50 million - equal to the profit from a year of drug dealing.'
Versace girl battling anorexia
Donatella Versace has revealed that her daughter Allegra is suffering from anorexia and has been gripped by the eating disorder for several years.
Allegra, 20, who inherited a 50 per cent share of her family's £300 million fashion empire, raised concerns when she was pictured recently looking particularly thin and gaunt.
In a statement, Donatella said: 'Our daughter, Allegra, has been battling anorexia, a very serious disease, for many years.
'She is receiving the best medical care to help overcome this illness and is responding well. As parents, we are doing our best to protect our daughter. We ask that her privacy be respected at this time.'

Becks and Diddy's beautiful friendship
It would seem an unlikely partnership, but one-time half-decent footballer David Beckham and music mogul P Diddy are the best of friends.
After Diddy's tour with Snoop Dogg was cancelled at the last minute, he reportedly met up with Becks for dinner in Mayfair.
The rapper later revealed, rather touchingly: 'We just check on each other, make sure each other is all right. We can relate to each other, so it's a real natural relationship.
'It's just two guys that kind of get along all right.'
Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly set to marry Israeli model Bar Rafaeli this summer.
The Titanic star, who previously dated brazilian model Gisele Bundchen, is said to be besotted with Rafaeli and got down on one knee following a whirlwind romance.
The National Enquirer quotes an apparently well-informed source as saying: 'Leo and Bar are ecstatic, as are both their families.
'Although it may be a bit of a rush, they're thinking about getting married this June. That's when Bar turns 22.
'They say they'll probably have a private ceremony in Israel, then a big ring ceremony and party in the US towards the end of the year.'
