Mills is booted off US dance show
Heather Mills' run on US TV show Dancing with the Stars has come to an end after she and dance partner Jonathan Roberts were voted off.
Mills clearly expected to be given the boot as she produced a written farewell speech plucked from the top of her sparkly dress.
The estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney said: 'We knew we were going out. We were in the bottom two last week. We're not surprised.'
Mills, who recieved widespread praise for her performances on the show, donated her fee to an animal charity and said that 'hundreds of thousands of animals' will have been saved as a result.
Far from allowing Heather Mills to fade into insignificance, her estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney appears to be fuelling the Mills publicity machine by basing much of his new album on her.
The former Beatle is said to have used his break-up with Mills as inspiration for his forthcoming album Memory Almost Full.
And in true 'I'm over it' style, Macca lays into Mills with some cutting lines.
In one song, Mr Bellamy, McCartney writes: 'No one to tell me what to do, no one to hold my hand. Nobody here to spoil the view, interfere with my plans. I like it up here without you.'
Special Gest at Willis wedding
It would seem that the unlikely friendship struck up between former Busted singer Matt Willis and music producer David Gest on reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here was not merely a 'for the cameras' exercise.
Indeed, it has been revealed that Liza Minelli's former husband is to be best man at Willis' wedding next summer.
Willis, 23, who met Gest on the ITV1 show last year, is engaged to marry MTV UK presenter Emma Griffiths.
He said: 'David is probably my best mate right now. I speak to him every day on the phone and hang out with him about three times a week.
'We're completely different and there is a 30-year age gap but it doesn't ever come into play. He's a really funny, great guy.'
Pre-concert court date for George
Singer George Michael's preparation for his sell-out Wembley Stadium concert will be far from ideal after he was ordered to appear in court the day before.
The former Wham! singer, 43, was arrested last October before being charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
A district judge in north-west London has ruled that Michael, real name George Panayiotou, should initially stand trial on 8 May, the day before the gig, followed by hearings on 30 and 31 May and 8 June.
