Victory is finalizing her new line to show at her store during fashion Week, but is nervous about what the critics will say. Wendy is having breakfast with her family while talking about a new script idea she plans on pitching to Sal at Parador Pictures.
Nico and Kirby run into Charles' ex-mistress Megan carrying her baby son, Charlie. Megan struggles to calm the child and Nico steps in to help for a moment by holding him. Later that day, Nico searches for a gift online to send Megan for baby Charlie. Wendy takes her script idea to Sal at the Parador offices. There, she pitches to Sal and Parador's new VP of development, a young woman named Paige.
Joe pays Victory a visit at the store to go over the budget for her opening and fashion show. It seems Victory exceeded the budget six invoices ago. She had no idea that Dahlia was spending so much money without telling her. Back at Parador, Wendy's pitch meeting with the new development executive didn't go as planned. Wendy and Sal share an awkward goodbye at the elevators.
Joe proposes a story to Nico for the next Bonfire issue. Nico calls him out and asks him to come clean; she wants to know what he really wants from her since it's clearly not a story. After Nico tells Joe to take a risk on Victory, he asks her if she knows Victory's ring size. Meanwhile, Victory is busy firing Dahlia.
Victory is realizing that getting rid of Dahlia might not have been the smartest move. Dahlia seems to have scaled back her original orders just before the opening, putting Victory in somewhat of a bad situation. Joe takes Ellen to pick out an engagement ring for Victory, who is now in crisis mode and has called Rodrigo to help with the store opening. Nico fills Wendy in on her conversation with Joe, excited about a potential reconciliation.
Dahlia continues to strike. She has ruined Victory's press kits, taken her waitstaff, her models and even her guest. Nico and Wendy step in to help find people to fill the seats and reprint the press kits. Kirby was asked to work Victory's party as a waiter, but Nico would prefer he didn't, considering her friends and colleagues will be attending.
