20 essential theme park tips
14. Get some parent's time out
Most resorts have kid's clubs at affordable hourly rates. They get dinner and a movie, and qualified supervision, while you get a night off. Check with your resort for in-room babysitting services for children younger than four.
15. Wear comfortable shoes
You will be doing a lot of walking!
16. Sit up front
Ask the driver if you can ride in the front cab of the monorail, there's a great view up there!
17. Carry supplies
Always carry a back-pack with snacks, water and sun cream. Buying these supplies within the parks is very expensive.
18. When it's hot, hit the water parks
Make sure you arrive early to bag yourself a lounger in the shade, hit the slides and rides first thing then relax in the pools or float around the rivers that run around the outside edge of both parks.
19. Remember where you parked your car
The car parks serving the parks are huge, so it's vital that you take note of the parking lot name and the number of your aisle.
20. Don't forget to have fun!
Despite the crowds, theme parks provide a really special experience, so relax and enjoy the magic...
