Tuna and other meaty-fleshed fish like marlin, swordfish and shark lend themselves well to pan grilling as its firm texture helps hold the steaks together

Ingredients

  • 1/2 large cucumber
  • 50g wild rocket
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 3 tbsp vegetable or sunflower oil
  • 1 sbsp red wine vinegar
  • salt and black pepper
  • 4 x tuna steaks
Serves: 4 Preparation: 10 Cook Time: 10 Total Time: 20min whats this

Directions

  1. Cut the cucumber in half lengthways and use a teaspoon to scoop out the seeds
  2. Cut lengthways into strips, then chop to a small dice
  3. Toss together with the wild rocket and dill
  4. Heat a ridged grill or frying pan (preferably non-stick) over a medium-high heat
  5. Brush the tuna steaks with a little of the oil
  6. Mix the rest of the oil with the vinegar and season with salt and pepper
