This week I'm loving: Demi Lovato

You wouldn’t look at Demi Lovato and think spoilt Disney princess; she has a likeable edge.

Her departure from the Disney Channel allowed her to say goodbye to her squeaky clean image, and reinvent herself as a ‘rock chick’.

Leather jackets are a staple of hers, and her hair changes colour on a regular basis: a lot of the time it is hard to keep up!

She manages to make even the most casual of dresses red carpet-ready, so it is an easy look to pull off for us ‘normal people’. Perfect wear for the office, or if you prefer to dress down you can make it an outfit practical enough for the cinema; just ditch the lipstick and heels.

Buns are great if you are in a rush, or want to be smart. I tend to go for the messy bun, but if you want a tidy one like Demi’s then it is easily achieved, just buy a bun holder from your local Poundland (also available from HM, and Boots, but for triple the price).

I like to keep my clothes casual, so would team the dress with converse, unless I was going out for drinks. Then I would gladly wear the chunky black boots.
