Summer is fast approaching (I may be dreaming a bit here), but I am definitely not imaging the lighter mornings and evenings! It's getting me in the mood to slowly start reintroducing dresses and brighter colours into my wardrobe.
This week Lea Michelle caught my eye. I never thought her style would appeal to me; her Glee character is just far too irritating to hold my attention. I am a lover of dresses and colour though so this outfit is something that I would recreate myself.
I have chosen slightly darker shades of the blue to fit more into our lovely climate (bleurgh).
I know a lot of women are a bit scared of showing of their arms, so I have selected two takes on the dress. If lace isn’t your thing, then feel free to stick to the jersey material.
The same goes for the heels, I love to wear heels, but just can’t. Ideally I would choose the heals I have included in this blog but the reality is I would buy them, wear them once, fall over and ditch them for my trusty low heeled boots.
For a day outfit I would wear thick black tights with both dresses, but in summer I would opt for bare legs (I am not brave enough to bare my legs in our arctic winters).
