Work out your way

We're on a mission to get Britain in shape and feeling great! With Wii Fit, everyone can enjoy staying active and energised. Exercise - even in small doses - can boost your self-esteem, increase your confidence, decrease stress and give your mood a natural boost

With such a wide range of activities to discover - from yoga to ski-slope runs, football headers to hula-hoop competitions - we're certain you'll be feeling great in no time.

What is Wii Fit?

Wii Fit is an enjoyable and innovative way to help you and your family stay fit in the comfort of your home. Wii Fit comes with the Wii Board, an accessory developed especially for the Wii console. Wii Fit can measure weight and balance through pressure sensors and allows for your body movement to control the game.

'For me, fitness has to be something that I quite enjoy doing. With Wii Fit it can be a game. It doesn't have to be serious, it can go both ways' - Louise Redknapp

Know your physique

Wii Fit provides you with an overview of your present condition. After entering your height and age, the Wii Board measures your weight and determines your Body Mass Index (BMI).

After that, Wii Fit analyses your centre of gravity and presents you with a balance exercise to test your sense of balance. The combined score results in your Wii Fit Age. You can then set personal training goals to help manage your BMI.

'For the first three months I wanted to relax and enjoy my baby. Now I'm trying to lose my baby weight slowly and sensibly' - Louise Redknapp

Train Yourself

Wii Fit features more than 40 different exercises across four areas of training. Burn fat with the Aerobic Exercises, develop body balance control ability with the Balance Games, bulk up with the Muscle Workouts or learn to stretch and relax with Yoga.

You can keep a unique progress chart in order to track performance. This also takes account of any exercise you do away from the Wii Board, ensuring you always have an accurate overview of your overall training results.

'It's like having a personal trainer in the room with you' - Louise Redknapp
