With 13 days to live, what would you do?
How you can help
Become a volunteer
The volunteers undertake a huge variety of work, such as: running reception, teaching arts and crafts to day care patients, bereavement support, providing complementary therapies, gardening, running support groups for carers, putting together volunteer newsletters, driving patients to day care and hospital appointments, and providing listening and befriending skills to patients and carers in their own homes.
13 Days
To volunteer for the 13 Days campaign, or to grow your own virtual sunflower (the symbol of the hospice movement) in thirteen days, visit www.timebank.org.uk/13days or call 0845 605 4008.
Tea At Three
Tea At Three is a simple and fun way to raise money for your local hospice either at work, school or home. Thousands of people in workplaces, schools, at home and across local communities are expected to hold fundraising tea parties or donate for their tea break, at 3pm on Friday 18th June.
What would you do if you only had 13 days to live? Why not vote and join the discussion with other iVillagers on the Great Debates message board:
