Tcp/ip
Transmission control protocol/Internet protocol. It's a way of networking (connecting) different computer systems, and because it can work on any system, it's becoming the global standard. To be more specific, TCP makes sure that the whole message or file is received. IP makes sure that the message or file is delivered to the right place. TCP/IP messages can be sent to multiple networks within an organization or around the world. (Also see Internet)
