Digitise
To turn something into digital code so it can be used on a computer. A scanner digitises images; a video digitiser converts analog video (your old VHS cassette) into digital video. If you use a digitiser tablet, you draw an image on the tablet with a pen. The tablet converts the drawing into a digital image on your computer. It's much easier than trying to draw with your mouse.
