Snail mail
Online term for traditional postal services. Because email is so speedy, people started referring to old-fashioned letters as 'snail mail' since they take so much longer to reach their destination. No matter what you call them, though, letters, cards, parcels and whatever else comes through the post is tends to be a lot more warmly received than email. (Also see Avatar)
